ENTEBBE Entebbe is a city in Uganda. The city was, at one time, the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda, prior to Independence in 1962. Entebbe is the location of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda's largest commercial and military airport.

RwandAir to resume daily domestic flights to Kamembe
Daily evening flight to Bujumbura reinstated on airline's schedule
March 5th 2010- Kigali - RwandAir has announced the resumption of scheduled flights to the southwest town of Kamembe (bordering Bukavu - DRC). The airline will operate these daily flights beginning March 7, 2010 with flight WB115 departing from Kigali 0800HRS and arriving in Kamembe at 0825HRS. The return flight WB114 will leave Kamembe at 0855HRS and arrive in Kigali by 0920HRS. The Kamembe flights offer great convenience and connectivity to tourists, businessmen, government travel, corporate organizations, NGOs, and financial institution accessing the southern part of the country.
The national carrier will also be reinstating its daily evening flight to Bujumbura. Flight WB 109 will depart from Kigali at 1630HRS (local time) and arrive in Bujumbura at 1705HRS (local time). The return flight WB110 will depart from Bujumbura at 1735HRS (local time) and arrive in Kigali at 1810HRS with a convenient connection to Entebbe for travellers eyeing intercontinental connections out of Entebbe airport. The resumption of the evening flight to Bujumbura effectively means that every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, RwandAir will have two flights to the Burundi Capital.
The airline is also firming up its plans to add Kinshasa to its summer 2010 schedule set to be released in April 2010. The 2hr 45min flight to the DRC Capital is expected to give a direct connection to travellers between Kinshasa and Kigali and further beef up RwandAir's network expansion plans.
