Advertising and Branding Executive

RwandAir Ltd is interested in hiring competent persons to fill the following position.

JOB TITLE: Advertising and Branding Executive

DEPARTMENT: Commercial

REPORTS TO: Communications & Promotions Manager


 Executing and managing tactical activities related to events of the airline, event calendar, staff activities, and inter-organizational activities;

 Ensure Rwandair presence at sponsored events;

 Maintain close working relationship with appointed advertising agency to ensure timely and accurate production of all advertisements;

 Act as liaison for all branding projects within RwandAir network;

 Coordinate media buying and media monitoring for all advertisements placed in print, outdoor, broadcast, online outlets;

 Coordinate with the sales department on the execution of sales promotion efforts (exhibitions, familiarization trips, educational tours;

 Ensure daily/weekly/monthly/periodic reports compiled according to reporting standards of the department;

 To enhance Rwandair’s relation to the general public positively, and generally represent company’s image and style;

 working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the our brief and budget;

 liaising with, and acting as the link between, Rwandair and advertising agency by ensuring that communication flows effectively;

 handling and monitoring budgets, managing campaign costs and following invoicing for our suppliers;

 writing work related reports;

 monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns in close collaboration with marketing agency;

Qualification, Experience, Skills & Competencies required.

• Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification;

• Minimum 3 years’ experience;

• Experience in all aspects of developing data marketing strategies;

• Technical marketing skills are an added advantage;

• Experience in customer and market research;

• Relevant industry knowledge;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – English and French;

• Planning, problem analysis and problem-solving;

• Formal presentation skills;

• Be a person of proven creativity, high motivation, and a team player
