RwandAir is interested in hiring competent person to fill the following position:

Job Title : Senior Sales Executive

Department: Commercial

Section : Sales

You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Rwanda and Eastern Congo

1. Job purpose

The Senior Sales Executive – Corporates; is responsible for driving the airline targets on sales from Corporates and coordinate the same through his/her subordinates.You will be accountable for the top line as well as developing,maintaining and growing Corporate sales.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all trade partner distribution channels are fully exploited to RwandAir’s benefit;

• Motivate, coach and lead the outdoor sales team to exceed targets;

• Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies that ensure key revenue, cost and profitability targets are met;

• Develop and maintain effective brand positioning and brand equity, in line with RwandAir’s aim to be a high quality and unique airline;

• Visit, service and build relations with Corporates and Frequent Flyers to maintain loyalty and optimise revenues;

• Achieve sales targets in line with budget for profitability of the airline

• Prepare, close sales contracts/incentives and deals to key accounts to generate maximum revenue;

• Promote WB products and services to the travel trade to create awareness and generate sales and revenue;

• Gather market intelligence to identify threats and opportunities so as to maintain a competitive edge;

• Collect, collate, feedback and act upon market intelligence and generate sales;

• Gather sales reports from your team for management information and performance evaluation and monitoring.

3. Required skills:

• Ability to lead, manage and motivate the team

• Self-motivation

4. Education & Experience:

• A University Degree in a related field such as Sales , Marketing and/or International Business

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Airline business , of which at least 3 in a leadership position

• Airline experience preferred, but not necessary
