Position : Revenue Accounting Officer
Reports to : Manager, Uplift Accounting

Duties and Responsibilities for Uplifts Accounting Officer

Primary Tasks

• Check the completeness of all daily ETLR files are loaded for processing;
• Ensure the receipt & reconciliation of daily flight manifests from all stations and check for completeness;
• Ensure monthly data processing of revenue coupons - Passenger and MD coupons are accurately processed and timely month closed and reported;
• Check the compliance from stations on the closure of flight coupons;
• Ensure the accurate and timely tax computations;
• Ensure all flight controls are done on a daily basis and movement reports are in balances;
• Maintain the updated master files of system on regular basis, flight schedule, SPA’s Code share, Fare basis etc;
• On daily basis handle the exception handling documents from system expeditiously on monthly basis;
• Ensure values for interline billing coupons are accurate, to include both own and other airlines coupons for out ward billing;
• Ensure fare rules from the system and issue automated open dated tickets with and without bookings. check Quote fares from the system in NUC and different currencies with applicable taxes for different types of journeys, with different carriers, discounts, commissions and class of travel;
• Ensure No-show documents. Itinerary Pricing, PNR Pricing Functions, Fare Construction Inputs, Fare Rules and Tax Displays, ROE and Currency Management (Conversion Functions) are applied correctly as per ticket rules;
• Check whether reservations system loading data flown and interline is effectively and efficiently done with minimal/ or data loss;
• Able to learn and use reservation systems as backup systems for ticketing data checks and analysis;
• Comfortable to work with numbers and make daily flight reconciliations;

Education, Skills and Competences Requirements

• Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Management related Courses, Accounting, Finance or Economics;
• Have ticketing knowledge;
• Having Airline Revenue Accounting knowledge and processes is an added advantage;
• Good track of performance records;
• Must be a team player and ready to learn;
