Notice on Ebola Prevention Measures to all Companies that operate across borders (entry points)      

 

Following the outbreak of the Ebola virus in west Africa, RwandAir wishes to inform our esteemed clients that we will be adhering to the instructions below from the Ministry of Health.

  • All Passengers must go through the screening processes for Ebola prevention as per measures set up by the Government of Rwanda at all border posts. No one will be allowed to proceed for entrance clearance unless they have been screened.
  • All passengers intending to enter Rwanda coming from the Republics of Guinea-Conakry, Liberia, Sierra leone and Senegal within the last 22 days will not be allowed to enter in Rwanda
  • Any Passengers with a fever of 37.5 degrees and above will not be allowed to enter in Rwanda, However, Rwandan returning passengers (residents) with a fever of 37.5 degrees and above, will be requested to stay at an isolation facility at the border posts for further medical checks and consistent follow up by professionals accredited by the Minister of Health, up to clearance as per Ministry of Health protocol.

All measures are in line with prevention against the transmission of the Ebola Virus.
