Traveling alone can be an exciting and empowering experience for young people, but it can also be a little intimidating. That's why we've created our Unaccompanied Minor Program – a special service dedicated to helping children ages 5 to 15 years old (until their 15th birthday) not accompanied by a passenger of at least 18 years of age, who are fully capable of taking care of the child during the entire trip travel safely and comfortably on our flight.
Our program is designed to give you peace of mind while your child travels.
When you book your child's flight, be sure to let us know that they'll be traveling alone. We'll ask you for some additional information, such as your child's age, contact information for both you and the person who will be meeting your child at their destination, and any special needs your child may have.
On the day of the flight, your child will need to check in at the airline counter, where they will receive a special badge to wear throughout their journey. This badge will help our staff identify them as unaccompanied minors.
When it's time to board the plane, our staff will escort your child to their seat and make sure they are settled in safely. They'll also help your child stow their carry-on luggage and any other belongings.
During the flight, our flight attendants will keep a close eye on your child, checking on them regularly and making sure they have everything they need
When the plane lands, our staff will escort your child off the plane and take them to the arrivals area, where the designated person will meet them.
Please note that there is a fee for our Unaccompanied Minor Program, and certain restrictions apply. For example, children under the age of 5 are not eligible for the program, and we may not be able to accommodate children with certain medical conditions or special needs.
