“When African carriers work together, we reflect the realities and ambitions of African travellers and African economies. This is more than a commercial agreement between two airlines; it is a clear demonstration of what African cooperation can achieve in aviation and how such collaborations can serve as a catalyst for sustainable growth,” said RwandAir CEO Yvonne Makolo. “By aligning our networks, we are not only expanding options for our customers, but we are building a stronger, more connected African aviation ecosystem as we connect Africa to the world.”
The partnership reinforces RwandAir’s strategy of leveraging airline alliances and bilateral partnerships to broaden network access efficiently while maintaining high standards of service, reliability, and customer experience.
