Effective 12:01 a.m. EDT on 9 June 2025, the United States government has issued a proclamation restricting entry for nationals from specific countries. This affects both immigrant and non-immigrant travellers.

Countries with Full Travel Suspension

Nationals of the following countries will not be permitted entry into the United States:

  • Afghanistan
  • Burma (Myanmar)
  • Chad
  • Republic of the Congo
  • Equatorial Guinea
  • Eritrea
  • Haiti
  • Iran
  • Libya
  • Somalia
  • Sudan
  • Yemen

Countries with Partial Restrictions (Visa-type Dependent)

Nationals from the countries below may face partial entry restrictions depending on their visa category:

  • Burundi
  • Cuba
  • Laos
  • Sierra Leone
  • Togo
  • Turkmenistan
  • Venezuela

What does this mean for our passengers?

If you are a national of one of the listed countries and are booked to travel to the United States, we advise that you:

  • Check your visa status carefully to determine if you are affected
  • Contact the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate for further clarification
  • Request a ticket refund from your point of sale if these restrictions impact your travel
